175 years of WIEHAG
WIEHAG celebrates 175 years
of timber construction history
WIEHAG has a long and eventful history. Since Josef Wiesner registered as a master carpenter in the guild book of the "honorable craft of carpenters" in Altheim in 1849, his successors have built the business into an internationally successful timber construction company over five generations. Under the leadership of Erich Wiesner, numerous large-scale projects and renowned architectural structures are developed and constructed today
On September 20, 2024, the Wiesner family invited all employees and their families to a big anniversary party to properly celebrate the company's long-standing existence. A colorful children's program with a bouncy castle, face painting and games was offered for the little ones. The cozy get-together in the afternoon continued into an evening gala dinner, at which a ceremony with a stage show caused a stir. Special thanks went to the employees, whose enthusiasm, reliability, solidarity and respect form the basis for WIEHAG's long-term success. At the site in Altheim and in the sales offices in Eningen, Bilbao, London and Melbourne, more than 380 employees work with their passion for timber construction to constantly expand the possibilities in structural timber construction.
