On 16 April 2026, 150 invited guests took the unique opportunity to visit one of the world’s most ambitious timber construction projects. With its bold and forward-thinking approach, the project sets new benchmarks for environmentally and socially sustainable industrial buildings. As part of the event, we presented our timber engineering expertise, contributing significantly to turning a visionary concept into reality.
With a total floor area of around 155,000 m², the BESTSELLER LCW will become Europe’s largest timber-framed logistics centre. WIEHAG is responsible for delivering the timber structure for Terminal 1 – a three-storey building with a footprint of approximately 80 × 500 metres. A milestone for us as well: the Logistics Centre West represents the largest single project in our company’s history and further strengthens our position as a leading international timber construction company.
